Also called Man Holding Shirts · So Many Shirts and Ties
A shopper clutches several packaged shirts and ties with his mouth open. Add a caption about buying too much, finding a bargain, or gathering more choices than you can handle.
The armful of purchases makes excess visible. The expression can read as delighted, startled, or overwhelmed depending on what the caption says.
You can keep the joke about clothes or let the shirts stand for another collection: projects, browser tabs, hobbies, or things you insisted you needed.
Put the setup above the shopper’s head and the payoff along the bottom of the image. Keep the face and the packages clear so both the reaction and the quantity remain visible.
A limit followed by an excuse works well here. The first line says what you intended; the second reveals why you are holding much more than that.
