Memes for influencers and content creators

Make memes for your creator feed

Turn an observation from your niche into a meme draft. Review the caption, choose a format that fits, and give followers enough context to get the joke.

Draft a meme from your idea

Start with a situation in your own words. You can review the AI generator and its options before generating.

A book-creator post example

Suppose you make book reviews and want to joke about buying another title before finishing what you own. This fictional example gives the post a specific point of view.

Distracted Boyfriend meme: the woman in red is ‘One more book’, the man looking at her is ‘Me’ and the woman beside him is ‘My unread pile’.
Manually captioned in Supermeme for this page. This is an illustration, not a published creator post or an AI result.

Text in the image

  • Woman in red: One more book
  • Man: Me
  • Woman beside him: My unread pile

The narrator looks toward a new purchase while the books they already own wait. The joke is at their own expense.

Suggested text to accompany the post

I went to the bookshop for one title.

If you want to ask a question, try: ‘Which book in your unread pile has waited the longest?’

Use a detail from your niche that a new follower can understand. Here, the unread pile gives the image its meaning; the post text adds a small scene. Replace both with an observation that sounds like you.

Edit the Distracted Boyfriend template

Add the three labels shown above or use your own. Replace any placeholder text before exporting; the finished illustration is separate.

A suggested idea for the AI meme generator

Me buying another book while the one I started is still on my bedside table.

This fills in an idea for you to review. AI suggestions may use different images and captions from the manually edited example.

Try the unread-pile idea

Build a post in your own voice

  1. 1. Find a moment from your niche

Use a habit, small frustration or recurring question you know first-hand. A book creator might choose the unread pile; a recipe creator might choose filming another take while dinner gets cold. Describe the moment without exposing someone’s private message.

  2. 2. Write the observation before the punchline

Put the situation in one sentence. Give the AI generator that idea, or start with a template and write the labels yourself. Check each suggestion against what you meant; keep the wording you would use in a post.

  3. 3. Choose the scene and edit the caption

Look at who reacts, what they react to and where the words fit. In the book example, three short labels explain the temptation. Rewrite a generic caption with the detail that makes it part of your niche.

  4. 4. Give the post a place in your feed

Add context in the accompanying text if a new follower needs it. Keep your reviews, demonstrations or other useful posts alongside the joke. You can ask a relevant question when you want readers to share their own experience.

If the picture tells a different story from your caption, the template-choice guide compares three formats for one situation.

Review before you publish

  • Read the finished image at phone size. Shorten labels that cover faces or need zooming.
  • Check that someone new to your feed can follow the joke. Add context for an inside reference.
  • Review the people, gestures and background as well as the words. Remove identifying details from audience stories.
  • Check the image’s source and permission for your intended use, especially if the post promotes a product.
  • Write an image description where the platform supports it, including the caption and reaction needed to understand the joke.

For the rights questions, read the U.S. meme copyright guide and check the requirements that apply to your location and use.

Learn from the response

Record the idea and template, then look at the responses available on your platform. Did people discuss the topic you meant to raise? Compare the post with your usual content on the same account, and note what you would change next time.

One post cannot tell you that memes caused follower growth. Treat reach and reactions as observations, and keep track of whether the responses came from the audience you want to serve.

Common creator questions

Will posting memes grow my following?

A meme does not guarantee reach or new followers. Start with a topic your audience cares about, check that the joke makes sense and review the responses alongside your usual posts. Keep useful content in your feed as well.

How do I keep an AI caption from sounding generic?

Give the generator a specific situation from your niche. Review the suggestion, replace vague wording with the detail you meant and read it aloud. Use a manual template if you already know the exact labels you want.

Should I use every trending template?

Use a trend when its scene fits your observation and you understand the reference. If you need a long explanation for your intended audience, choose another format or add context in the post text.

Does the example open with the finished captions?

The template link opens the template for you to caption. Add or replace text layers with the labels shown above or your own. The book-creator image was manually captioned for this page. The suggested AI idea is separate and may produce different templates or captions.
