I Guarantee It Meme Template

George Zimmer’s confident expression turns a prediction into a personal guarantee. Add your promise on the left and finish with the familiar phrase, whether the outcome is reassuring or painfully predictable.

The joke borrows the certainty of a sales pitch. It can confidently promise something mundane, such as a cat immediately changing its mind about going outside.

The promise should stand on its own before the final phrase. An outcome everyone recognizes usually needs less explanation than an elaborate story.

George Zimmer founded Men’s Wearhouse and became widely recognizable through its television commercials. His signature guarantee accompanied the retailer’s promise that customers would like their appearance, as described in his KQED interview profile. [1]

A June 2010 company announcement also describes advertisements ending with Zimmer and the guarantee. The meme reuses his recognizable image and sales-pitch wording for new claims. [2] [3]

Put your prediction in the open space on the left, followed by “I guarantee it” below. This leaves Zimmer’s eyes and expression unobstructed.

Keep the prediction short enough for that narrow column. You can promise a good result, but an ordinary inconvenience often makes the confidence funnier.
