Also called Finally a Concept That Goes Through the Mind · Over My Head Arrows
Two explanations go over your head. The third finally gets through. Use the three arrows to compare what confuses you with what immediately makes sense.
In the first two panels, an arrow bends over the person’s head. In the last, it travels straight through and the person smiles. The drawing turns understanding into a literal path through the head.
The last label can be a clearer explanation of the same idea, or a much sillier subject you understand better. Keep that final choice as the reveal.
Place short labels beside the incoming arrows, in the open space to the left. Read from top to bottom: difficult, still difficult, then understood.
Keep the first two labels related so the last one makes a clear contrast. Formal documentation, a long presentation, and a quick sketch can tell a whole story about learning the same task.
