The hands around the head make this a stronger reaction than a simple puzzled look. It suits a rule that defeats its own purpose or an explanation that leaves you more confused.

Use the caption to expose the contradiction. If the problem needs several sentences to explain, choose the part where the logic breaks.

This drawing follows the confused Jackie Chan pose associated with the reaction phrase “My Brain Is Full of Fuck.” Know Your Meme documents a photograph paired with that phrase on MemeDepot in September 2009. [1]

The phrase predates the Jackie Chan version. A February 2008 example used a photograph of a gargoyle at Oxford instead. [1]

The line drawing already fills most of the frame. A short caption at the bottom preserves the hands, eyebrows, and confused expression.

Describe both sides of the contradiction in one sentence. “You need experience to get experience” gives the drawing something to react to; “I am confused” only repeats the picture.
