Khaby Lame watches an elaborate solution, then presents the obvious one with open palms. Use the two blank boxes to compare unnecessary effort with a simpler way.
The upper row introduces a problem made harder than it needs to be. The lower row removes the complication, while Khaby’s gesture asks why it was there in the first place.
Both options should solve the same problem. If the second option changes the goal, the comparison becomes a preference rather than an obvious shortcut.
Khaby Lame built this style of comedy on TikTok: show someone taking an elaborate approach to a simple task, demonstrate the straightforward alternative, and finish with an expressive gesture. In a Highsnobiety interview, he explains how silence lets the joke cross language barriers. [1]
The profile traces his first TikTok stitch to November 2020 and highlights an April 2021 banana-peeling response. Those examples explain the routine behind this comparison format; they do not establish the filming date of these particular purple-hoodie frames. [1]
Write the overcomplicated method in the upper-left white box. Put the simple alternative in the lower-left box, beside the open-palmed gesture. The portraits need no captions.
Choose a shortcut that really resolves the setup. The clearest versions save a few steps without creating a new problem.
