A suited man presents a very serious-looking deal. Fill in “I receive” and “you receive” to offer an exchange whose terms are unequal, oddly specific, or just a little too honest.
The formal pose and alert banner make even a ridiculous bargain look official. The joke comes from comparing what each side gets, especially when one side clearly benefits more.
Write from the perspective of the person making the offer. If the speaker is a cat, the left side might be food and the right side a single permitted pat.

The formal pose and two-column offer are reused in image edits and redraws. [1]
Put the speaker’s benefit under “i receive” on the left and the other person’s benefit under “you receive” on the right. Keep both entries short enough to fit above the man’s head.
The offer can be unfair or mutually appealing, but the relationship between the two sides should be obvious. Read it aloud as “I get this, and you get that.”
