Also called Epic Handshake · Dutch and Dillon Handshake · Muscular Arms Handshake
Two muscular arms meet over one thing they share. Label a different person or group on each side, then put the common ground over the clasped hands.
The handshake makes agreement look like a major alliance. The two sides may have little else in common, which makes their shared preference or habit the point of the joke.
Use the center label for the connection rather than a third participant. The image should answer one question: what brings these two sides together?
In Predator (1987), Dutch, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, greets Dillon, played by Carl Weathers, with a handshake that turns into a brief test of strength. Online tributes and video remixes later exaggerated the moment. [1]
This template uses the drawing uploaded by DeviantArt artist MILOSLAVvonRANDA on September 6, 2012. By 2018, captions on the two arms and joined hands were turning the pose into comparisons about shared interests. [1]
The film supplies the arm-wrestling handshake behind the later meme. [1]

Collections of examples show the arms labeled as different groups with a shared interest between them. [1]
Put the first group on the left arm and the second on the right. Place their shared preference near the clasped hands so the labels read as a visual connection.
Choose groups that readers can distinguish quickly. The common ground can be ordinary; the oversized muscles provide the exaggerated celebration.
