A cheetah, an airplane, and the speed of light build up to a fourth entry with the fullest speed bar. Fill the blank with something that happens absurdly fast.
The chart gives a familiar everyday event a speed beyond the three impressive comparisons. It is a joke ranking, with the final entry supplying the exaggeration.
Fast reactions, disappearing food, and a battery dropping at the wrong moment all fit. The last entry should be an action or event whose speed people recognize.
Chris McCoy created the chart for Safely Endangered. Episode 630, “Fastest,” appeared on Webtoon on December 6, 2020; its final entry was about racing downstairs on Christmas morning. [1] [2]
Edited versions and a blank template appeared on Reddit on December 19, 2020. Later examples replaced the final entry with everything from sold-out game consoles to a retracting tape measure. [2]
The original chart ends with the Christmas-morning rush. [1] [2]
An edited chart and a reusable template are documented. [2]
The original appears on the Safely Endangered Instagram and Facebook accounts. [2]
Write your answer in the blank lower-right area above the red bar. Leave the three existing comparisons and all four bars intact.
A short action makes the ranking clear. You can also use Image to place a picture in that blank area, then move the caption below it.
