The Grim Reaper has already cleared several doors, but the next one hides Big Smoke holding a bat. Label a streak of easy victories, the challenger, and the obstacle that finally pushes back.
The upper picture makes the challenger look unstoppable. The lower picture reveals that the next target is ready, turning confidence into a bad decision.
This version is about the exception that ends a winning streak. The caption already printed below Big Smoke supplies the response, so your labels only need to explain who has met their match.
The upper picture belongs to the “Death Knocking on Doors” cartoon format. Know Your Meme traces a political version to an August 2013 Taringa post, while noting that the artwork may be older. Later edits apply its sequence of doors to sports, games, and other contests. [1]
The lower picture adds Big Smoke from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, released in 2004. His warning comes from the opening “Big Smoke” mission, where he confronts CJ before recognizing him. This composite puts the Reaper in CJ’s place; the sources here do not establish who first combined the images. [2] [3]
Rockstar’s game includes Big Smoke’s confrontation and the warning used in the lower picture. [2] [3]
A Taringa post uses the Reaper and doors for political commentary. This dates a known post, not the drawing’s creation. [1]
A documented Sergio Ramos variation applies the cartoon to football. [1]
Use the empty wall above the first three doors to describe earlier victories. Label the Reaper on the robe and the last door near its top. In the lower picture, label Big Smoke on the green shirt.
The defender can be the same subject named on the last door, or the specific protection found inside. Keep the existing bottom subtitle visible.
