Also called Skeleton at Computer · Skeleton Waiting at Desk · I Will Be Waiting
A skeleton sits at a computer with a headset and a hand on the mouse. Add the thing you are waiting for and turn a slow response into a wait that seems to last forever.
The computer setup suggests the person stayed at the desk throughout the delay. The skeleton exaggerates how much time has passed.
It fits downloads, replies, and promises of something happening “soon.” Name the delay clearly so the picture can supply the exaggeration.
Know Your Meme’s image archive contains a cropped version of this same desk photograph, uploaded on December 29, 2014. Its caption describes an ongoing wait. That upload documents one use of the picture; it does not establish who took the photograph or when. [1]
The uploaded image shows the same skeleton, headset, computer desk, and blue lamp, cropped more tightly. [1]
Add your caption in the open area to the right of the skull. Keep the headset, face, and hand on the mouse visible so the desk scene remains clear.
Start with “Waiting for…” or name a stalled process. A specific detail such as a download stuck at 99% is enough to make the waiting recognizable.
