Also called Skeptical Orange Cat · Suspicious Ginger Cat
An orange cat gives a claim a doubtful look. Write what you were told at the top and the detail that makes you question it at the bottom.
The narrowed gaze suggests that something does not quite add up. The cat becomes the observer noticing a mismatch between a reassuring explanation and the evidence in front of it.
A small clue can make the joke. Missing icing, a familiar error message, or a pet carrier by the door gives the expression something specific to question.
Use the red space above the ears for the claim. Put the skeptical response across the lower chest, leaving the eyes and nose unobstructed.
Choose a detail that readers can connect to the first line immediately. The caption does not need to solve the mystery; the cat is still deciding whether to believe it.
