Slick Fry Meme Template

Fry looks much more impressed with himself than Leela does. Give him a boast that treats a tiny achievement as a major display of charm or skill.

Fry wears a self-satisfied grin while Leela looks sideways at him. The two expressions let the audience see both the boast and the unimpressed response in one frame.

A very ordinary accomplishment can become the punchline: using a shortcut, knowing the password, or remembering to bring a bag. Fry supplies the confidence the achievement does not deserve.

Fry and Leela are characters from Futurama, the animated series created by Matt Groening and developed with David X. Cohen. [1] [2]

Use a short first-person sentence over the lower part of the image. Leave Fry’s grin and Leela’s eye clear so their reactions remain readable.

Keep the delivery confident and the achievement modest. Explaining that the boast is unimpressive would repeat what Leela’s expression already suggests.

The boast

An ordinary achievement delivered with total confidence.

• Start with a concrete thing Fry claims to have done.
• A mundane skill works well when delivered with too much confidence.
• Keep the caption to one boast rather than adding a reply.
