Merry and Pippin look on as an extra meal becomes a serious concern. Use the hobbits’ expectation of second breakfast to ask for another helping of something you have already enjoyed.
The speaker treats a second serving as an ordinary entitlement. Someone else may think the meal, break, or treat is over, but the hobbit has a different schedule in mind.
It works for food and for other things you wish would last longer. The joke is the sincere expectation that having one is no reason to stop.
In the 2001 film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Aragorn urges the hobbits to keep traveling. Pippin asks about breakfast. When Aragorn points out that they have already eaten, Pippin explains that he means a second breakfast. [1]
Merry then tells Pippin that Aragorn probably does not know about that meal. The exchange supplies the familiar request for another serving and the disappointed reaction when someone considers one enough. [1]
The film’s journey from Bree includes Pippin’s request for a second breakfast. This is the scene’s release year, not a claimed first date for the caption template. [1]
Place the request along the bottom, below both faces. You can keep the question short because the picture and the phrase already suggest that one serving has happened.
Replace breakfast with a treat, a rest, or an activity the speaker wants to repeat. Use something enjoyable enough that asking again feels understandable.
