Oprah points to individual audience members before throwing her arms open to everyone. Replace the cars with something being handed out freely, whether people want it or not.
The repeated promise builds toward a group-wide announcement. A small gift gets the enthusiasm of a major giveaway.
The same structure can exaggerate unwanted distribution: everyone receives another meeting invitation, a new task, or one more notification.
On September 13, 2004, The Oprah Winfrey Show surprised its 276 audience members with new Pontiac G6 cars. Oprah moved through the audience announcing the gift, then opened her arms for the collective reveal. [1] [2]
The moment was parodied on television and in online videos before becoming a familiar caption template. By December 2012, documented Reddit versions were replacing the cars with other things, including upvotes. [2]

The repeated announcement is adapted into an animated television sketch. [2]
A documented post substitutes upvotes for cars while retaining the repeated promise. [2]
Use the two upper pictures and the middle picture for individual promises. Finish with the wider announcement in the bottom image.
Keep the item short and repeat it consistently. The final “everybody” line should be the loudest part of the joke, rather than introducing a different item.
