Call out a celebration that came before the result. The line already on the image supplies the reply; your caption explains who got ahead of themselves.
Johnny’s sideways look and the printed words tell someone they moved too early. Use it for premature confidence, an announcement before confirmation, or a shortcut taken before the work is done.
The situation needs an unfinished step. Saying a download is complete at 99 percent gives the existing line a clear target.
Rick Yune plays Johnny Tran in The Fast and the Furious (2001). His “Too soon, Junior” line comes during the race between Tran’s Honda S2000 and Jesse’s Volkswagen Jetta. [1]
The bottom of this image already says “TOO SOON JUNIOR.” Place your setup in the upper strip, keeping the eyes and the existing line clear.
Make the timing error explicit. A progress percentage, a test that has not run, or a game with time left makes it obvious why the celebration is early.
