Also called Spider-Man Wall Meme · Peter Parker Missing Iron Man · I See His Face Everywhere
Peter Parker looks toward an empty brick wall while the subtitle says he keeps seeing someone’s face. Fill the wall with the person, thing, or reminder he cannot get away from.
The scene can express missing someone or being reminded of them everywhere. Meme edits also use it for overexposure: the same advertisement, song, or reference keeps appearing.
The blank wall is the replacement area. Whatever you put there becomes the subject of Peter’s reaction.
The scene appeared in the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer released on May 6, 2019. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker looks at an Iron Man mural while talking about missing Tony Stark. [1]
Image and video edits began circulating on Instagram and Reddit that same day. They replaced the mural with new subjects. Blank-wall templates let later creators insert their own reminders. [1]
Place a short label in the lit brick area of the lower panel. You can also use the Image tool to insert a picture into that space.
Keep Peter and the two existing subtitle lines visible. The upper frame sets up the thought; the wall reveals what he keeps noticing.
