The answer is right there, and you cannot believe you have to point it out. Give the open hand a piece of obvious evidence.
Pauly D’s wide eyes, open mouth, and outstretched hand combine surprise with a demand to notice something. The image works as a louder version of “look at this.”
Use a contradiction visible to everyone in the situation: an unplugged cable, a message still on screen, or a missing object sitting in plain sight.
Use the lower strip for a short, emphatic reply. Keep the face and most of the outstretched hand clear so the gesture remains part of the message.
A short quote can name the overlooked evidence directly. You do not need an additional line explaining that the speaker is shocked; the face already makes that clear.
