Also called Chuck Norris Thumbs Up · Chuck Norris Approved · Dodgeball Chuck Norris
Chuck Norris raises a thumb from the judges’ table. Name the thing that deserves approval and let the gesture do the rest.
The smile and raised thumb give a clear yes. The image can congratulate a useful decision, thank someone for a small courtesy, or approve an idea before it happens.
The formal name card makes a minor achievement look as though it has received a special ruling. A spare charger or a clear set of notes is enough to earn the exaggerated recognition.
The image comes from Chuck Norris’s cameo as himself in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004). Sitting on the judging panel, he gives the vote that allows Average Joe’s to play despite arriving late. [1]
The gesture became a standalone approval reaction. In a 2024 oral history, members of the film’s production team recalled arranging a helicopter journey to bring Norris to the set for his brief appearance. [2] [3]
Place a short caption in the upper-left space above the raised thumb. Keep Norris’s face, hand, and name card clear so the approval remains easy to read.
A concrete action works better than a broad compliment. Say what someone did well, or name the small convenience you are grateful for.
