Also called Bill Murray Pointing
Point out the person who made things a little better. Add a specific compliment above and below the portrait.
The finger points straight at the reader, so the praise feels addressed to them. It works for the friend who saved a seat or the colleague who sent notes you could actually use.
A modest favor can get an oversized thank-you. Naming the favor makes the compliment more personal than a general “you are great.”
Name what the person did in the top caption, then use the bottom to reveal the thoughtful extra. Notes are useful; notes with timestamps deserve their own thank-you.
Leave the face and pointing finger uncovered. Short captions above the hair and along the bottom keep the direct address intact.

The compliment is aimed at someone who remembered the person still on their way.
A shared side dish gets the same approval as a much grander gesture.
