Also called Nebula I’m You · You Are Weak I Am You · Two Nebulas
One Nebula calls the other weak and gets a reminder that they are the same person. Label the two versions to expose a false distinction, a shared habit, or a different name for the same thing.
The reply undercuts the speaker’s claim to superiority. The labels should reveal a connection strong enough to make that confidence look misplaced.
You can compare yourself at two different times or put equivalent quantities under different names. The joke works when the audience recognizes the sameness without needing an explanation.
The exchange comes from Avengers: Endgame, released in the United States on April 26, 2019. Nebula’s past self accuses her of weakness, and the reply points out that they are the same person. [1]
Know Your Meme documents an August 15, 2019 Reddit post by cosmobhoi using the two-panel image for a math joke. The format spread that month as a way to label two supposedly different things that turn out to be equivalent. [1]
Put the first label in the dark background to the left of the standing Nebula. Put the second in the dark space on the right of the lower panel.
Leave both printed lines and both faces visible. The labels establish the comparison; the existing dialogue delivers the correction.
