Fun has been shown the door. Label the person enforcing the rules and the idea they are sending outside, then let the pointing gesture finish the joke.
A man holds a sign marked “fun” over his head and points towards an open door. The pose makes it look as though enjoyment is being sent outside.
Use the two labels for a rule that leaves no room for fun and the small pleasure it interrupts. The printed sign supplies the subject; your captions explain the situation.
Tenor’s Exit Leave post shows the same pose with an exit sign. Here the sign reads “fun,” so the gesture can send a bit of enjoyment out of the room. The linked post documents the exit-sign variant; it does not establish who made this “fun” edit. [1]
Put the activity being sent away on the wall to the left. Put the rule, person or routine enforcing it over the lower part of the sweatshirt.
Leave the printed “fun” sign, face and pointing hand clear. Choose something small enough to make the stern gesture funny: a joke in a meeting, an unusual game strategy or another episode before bed.
