Kim Yeji And Yusuf Dikeç Meme Template

Kim Yeji’s specialized shooting glasses and dark sportswear sit beside Yusuf Dikeç’s plain glasses and white shirt. Use the contrast for elaborate preparation versus a simple-looking approach.

The joke compares appearances: one side looks highly equipped, the other looks casual. Both athletes are accomplished competitors, so the contrast does not mean that one lacks skill or preparation.

Label two ways of approaching the same ordinary task. It works especially well when both methods reach the goal despite looking very different.

The left image shows South Korea’s Kim Yeji at the May 2024 World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. She won the women’s 25m pistol event with a then-world-record score of 42. Her performance footage attracted renewed attention during the Paris Olympics. [1] [3]

The right image shows Türkiye’s Yusuf Dikeç at Paris 2024. He and Şevval İlayda Tarhan won silver in the 10m air pistol mixed team event on July 30. The pair of images is not a head-to-head contest between Kim and Dikeç. [2]

Their contrasting appearances became a popular comparison in late July and early August 2024. Dikeç used ordinary glasses and earplugs; captions suggesting that he competed with no equipment exaggerate the difference. [3]

Place one label on each athlete’s clothing below the face and shooting arm. Keep their equipment visible because it explains the contrast.

Use parallel captions: a full setup and a basic setup, or careful instructions and a familiar shortcut. Treat the athletes as roles in the joke rather than making claims about their ability.
