A small editorial note
The proposed response is much larger than the issue that prompted it.

A masked man points a pistol at Eminem; the next panel reveals a much larger response. Label a small challenge above and an excessive answer below.
The second panel reverses who appears to have the advantage. The response does more than match the original challenge; it makes that challenge look small.
Use it for a disproportionate comeback or an oversized solution to a minor problem. A single typo answered with a rewrite, for example, follows the same change in scale.
The two frames come from the video for Eminem’s Godzilla, featuring Juice WRLD. Directed by Cole Bennett, the video was released on March 9, 2020. In the scene, Eminem answers a masked man’s pistol by producing a rocket launcher. [1] [2]
Labeled versions appeared on Reddit within a day of the video’s release. They turned the visual escalation into a format for a challenge followed by a stronger comeback. [2]
Put the first label over the masked figure’s torso in the upper panel. Put the response over Eminem’s lower torso in the second panel, leaving his face and the length of the launcher visible.
Keep both labels in the same category: a task and a much bigger task, or a criticism and a more decisive reply. The change in scale should be apparent before anyone needs an explanation.
