- Think, Mark! Planners don't finish tasks!
Also called Think, Mark · Omni-Man Think
Turn a simple mistake into an unnecessarily intense lecture. The caption points out the step someone should have thought through.
One character is doing the explaining, and the other has to hear it. The contrast between a small everyday problem and the furious delivery makes the joke.
You can direct the lecture at yourself. Buying a planner to avoid doing the work, for example, gives the speaker an obvious flaw to point out without targeting anyone else.
The frame comes from the first-season finale of the animated series Invincible, released on April 30, 2021. Omni-Man points toward his head while lecturing his son Mark during their fight. [1]
The spoken line is “Think, Mark!” Caption changes and redraws reuse the confrontation for other arguments. [1]
Pick one avoidable mistake, then write the reason it will not work. The opening “Think, Mark!” supplies the impatient voice. Your second sentence needs to make a specific point.
Keep the text below the characters. Their faces and the fingers pointing at Omni-Man’s head are what turn ordinary advice into a lecture.
