PPAP: Pen Pineapple Apple Pen Meme Template

Pikotaro presents two ingredients, brings them together, and reacts to the result. Replace the ingredients with your own pair and give their combination a funny outcome.

The layout turns combining two things into a tiny performance. The top images introduce the parts; the middle joins them; the bottom names what they produce.

The result can be a mashup, a pun, or an unwanted consequence. It should depend on both ingredients rather than introducing an unrelated third idea.

PPAP is a music video performed by Pikotaro, a character created by Japanese comedian Kosaka Daimaoh. It was released on YouTube on August 25, 2016. The performance uses mimed objects, an animal-print outfit, and a plain white background. [1]

Fans first shared dance imitations and parodies. By October 2016, labeled still images were using the gestures to combine other people and objects. This template follows that visual sequence without needing the song’s lyrics. [1]

Label the two top images with the ingredients. Use the middle caption to bring them together and the bottom caption for the result.

Keep the hands and face visible. A small wordplay joke or an everyday combination is enough; the performer supplies the enthusiasm.
