Also called Impossibru Guy Original · Impossible Reaction Face · Ayumu Kato Reaction
A drawn face reacts in disbelief above the fixed word “IMPOSSIBRU!!” Add the supposedly impossible event at the top and let the existing expression deliver the response.
“Impossibru” is a stylized spelling of “impossible.” The reaction can mean that a demand is unreasonable or that an ordinary success is so rare it feels unbelievable.
This version turns the reaction into a black-and-white drawing. A working printer or an on-time group chat can earn the same shocked response as a much bigger surprise.
The face behind the meme belongs to Japanese comedian Ayumu Kato. On the hidden-camera show Panic Face King, he was led into what appeared to be a business meeting before the production staged a shooting around him. [1]
A clip was uploaded to YouTube by clicktoriscom on January 29, 2010. The reaction spread through imageboards and humor sites with the “Impossibru” caption; this template uses a drawn version of that expression. [1]
Put one short statement across the top of the image, above the eyebrows. Leave the face and the printed “IMPOSSIBRU!!” at the bottom visible, since they already provide the punchline.
Choose either an unreasonable request or a surprising success. State it plainly and let the exaggerated expression show how hard it is to believe.
