Heavy claims to fear nobody, then admits there is one exception. Fill the white space between the lower panels with the thing that makes this otherwise fearless character nervous.
The joke depends on a mismatch between confidence and fear. The exception can be an ordinary nuisance that somehow feels worse than any obvious threat.
The dialogue is already in the image. You only need to name or show the thing Heavy is reacting to.
The dialogue comes from Valve’s Team Fortress 2 short Meet the Pyro, released on June 27, 2012. Heavy describes his fear of the masked Pyro during an interview. Meme edits replace that subject with a new source of dread. [1] [2]
Know Your Meme documents a June 2013 Meet the Villager remix and a February 2014 still-image version. Captioned variations returned to wider circulation on Tumblr and Reddit in October 2017. [2]
The short supplies Heavy’s boast and nervous exception. [1]
Meet the Villager adapts the sequence around another game character. [2]
The dialogue appears as a vertical reaction meme. [2]
Tumblr and Reddit posts reuse the fear-versus-confidence contrast. [2]
Put a short label in the white space between the two smaller panels. Black text stays readable against that blank background.
For an image-based joke, use the editor’s Image tool to place your subject in the same gap. Keep all three pieces of Heavy’s dialogue visible.
