Also called Harry Potter Wand · Harry Potter Shouting
Turn a minor problem into a task for a very serious spell. Harry’s outstretched wand and shouted expression do the dramatic work.
The pose is active: Harry is trying to make something happen. Use it for a desperate command, an imaginary spell, or a small task approached with far too much force.
The funniest target can be ordinary. A printer, a stuck jar, or a stubborn mute button needs a tiny fix, but the person wielding the wand treats it as a magical emergency.
The Harry Potter films use spoken incantations alongside wand gestures. One example is Arania Exumai, the spider-banishing charm that Harry uses in Chamber of Secrets. The official Harry Potter encyclopedia describes it as a spell for repelling spiders and Acromantula. [1]
Place the words near the lower edge so the face, pointing hand, and wand remain visible. A forceful verb can do more than a long account of the problem.
You can invent a fake spell for a mundane action or write the thing you are willing to happen. Make the desired result clear even to someone who does not know the films.
