Also called After All These Years · Grunkle Stan Journals · Gravity Falls Three Journals
Three journals lie together on a table, and Grunkle Stan admires his completed collection. Label the books with three things you have finally managed to gather.
The scene treats completing a set as a major achievement. Replacing the mysterious journals with everyday objects makes that triumph comically disproportionate.
The three labels should belong together: essentials before leaving, parts of a collection, or ingredients for a familiar meal. The printed dialogue supplies the celebration.
The scene closes “Gideon Rises,” the first-season finale of Gravity Falls, which aired on August 2, 2013. In his secret room, Grunkle Stan places the three journals together and celebrates finally possessing the complete set. [1]
Know Your Meme records a two-panel adaptation from July 2017 and later fan variations. In March 2019, a three-panel version and a shared blank template helped the format spread through Reddit; both two- and three-panel versions circulated. [1]
Label the books from upper left to lower right: journal 1, journal 2, then journal 3. Use a short name for each object so the whole set is readable at a glance.
Keep the existing dialogue and Stan’s expression visible. The lower panel already says how satisfying it feels to have all three.
