The familiar button dilemma gets a confident answer: press both. Put one choice on each button and use the smiling thumbs-up to celebrate the combination or admit to a cheerful contradiction.
The two options can be compatible things you refuse to choose between, such as sweet and salty snacks. They can also be conflicting habits that you somehow keep doing together.
The thumbs-up changes the tone of the original worried character. This version is pleased with its solution, even when the labels show that the solution makes no sense.
Jake Clark published the original Two Buttons comic in October 2014. On November 11, 2020, artist Petirep shared this redraw on Twitter and Reddit: the hand presses both buttons, and the lower panel replaces the worried reaction with a smile and thumbs-up. [2] [1]
Petirep’s Reddit post is titled “Template: Both options at once.” Know Your Meme records new captioned versions appearing immediately and more widely shared Reddit examples by December 2020. [1] [2]

The redraw supports new jokes about choosing both options. [2]
Place short labels in the white spaces above the red buttons. Keep the fingers visible so the reader can see that both buttons are being pressed at once.
Leave the lower panel free to deliver the satisfied response. The contrast can be wholesome, contradictory, or self-mocking, depending on the pair of labels.
