Also called I Go to America · Borat Leaving the Village · Borat Pulling a Cart
Borat announces his departure as if the whole village needs to hear it. Give that enthusiasm an unexpected destination: a lunch break, the snack aisle, or a very short holiday.
The grin, packed cart, and crowd make leaving look like a grand occasion. A caption can shrink that occasion to an ordinary errand while keeping all the excitement.
The destination is the punchline. It can be somewhere nearby, somewhere you have wanted to go all day, or a place that makes the elaborate departure seem unnecessary.
This image is from Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, the 2020 sequel starring Sacha Baron Cohen. Amazon Studios shared the departure as an official GIF, identifying the film and the “I go to America” line. [1]
The screenplay describes Borat pulling a handcart with a crate through the village as he announces his trip. The crowd jeers, but his cheerful departure gives the captioned image its eagerness. [2]
The studio’s official Tenor upload pairs the cart scene with the America announcement. [1]
Put the announcement across the bottom of the image so Borat’s face and the cart stay visible. You can keep the “I go to…” structure or write an ordinary sentence about leaving.
Choose a specific destination. A snack aisle or the office kitchen gives the excited departure a clearer joke than a general statement about being happy.
