Three cheerful salesmen arrive with perfect timing. Write a situation above them, then let the printed introduction announce the people, temptations, or problems about to enter it.
The setup creates an opening for an immediate interruption. Saying that nothing could distract you is practically an invitation for distractions to introduce themselves.
The arriving group can be welcome or unwelcome. The friendly faces work for useful help, but they also make an inconvenient arrival feel comically pleased with itself.
The image comes from the 1998 VeggieTales story “Madame Blueberry.” Three scallion salesmen introduce themselves while encouraging Madame Blueberry to visit Stuff-Mart, a store full of things she wants. [2] [1]

Use the large white area above the scene for your setup. Name the arriving group there too, so readers know who the scallions represent.
Keep the printed introduction visible. A confident claim followed by the group that will contradict it is an easy way to structure the joke.
